London School of Astrology und Flare UK

The London School of Astrology was founded to celebrate the start of the New Millennium by Sue Tompkins and Christine Tate, two astrologers who had been successfully working together for over 15 years. While Sue Tompkins continues to teach for the LSA on all levels (alongside other top astrology tutors in the UK), the LSA is now run and managed hands-on by teacher, publisher and writer Frank Clifford.

Sue's aim in starting this new School was to provide a high standard of tuition by recruiting tutors who are experienced, practising astrologers – teachers and consultants who can bring with them the accumulated knowledge that is only acquired after many years of working on a day-to-day basis with planetary symbolism.

Their teaching shows that astrology, essentially a spiritual discipline, can be practical, holistic and have relevance to every aspect of everyday life.

Indeed, astrological principles can be applied to all things, from the understanding of our behaviour, emotions, health and relationships right through to events and happenings around us and the headlines in the daily newspaper.

The London School of Astrology offers classes, seminars and courses designed to enable the student to use the powerful tool of astrology for their own personal self-development.

Sue Tompkins BA (Hons), MARH, LCH, FF Astrol.S., Hon. RC Astrol.

Co-founder of the LSA, Sue's interest in astrology spans 30 years. Renowned for her down-to-earth and humorous presentations, Sue's teaching experience at all levels (beginners to post-graduate supervision) is extensive.

In 2000, she was awarded a fellowship by FAS in recognition of her work in this role. Later that year she founded the London School of Astrology. In 2003 she gained the prestigious Charles Harvey Award for exceptional service to Astrology by the Astrological Association. The recipient of this once-in-a-lifetime award, presented by the Astrological Association, is decided each year by the major astrological organisations in the UK.

Her book 'Aspects in Astrology' (Rider) is widely regarded as a classic and continues to be an international best-seller. Her new textbook is 'The Contemporary Astrologer's Handbook' (Flare, 2007), which is currently already in its eighth printing.
